About the Role

  • Manage all accounting transactions

  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Ensure timely bank payments

  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

  • Audit financial transactions and documents

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

  • Communicate with customers

  • Handle customers’ bookkeeping of their accounts – including but not limited to, entering income and expenses into their accounting software

Requirements

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks is an advantage
• Proficiency in Accounting Software, MS Office applications such as Words, Excel and MS Outlook;
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Good communication skills - Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin languages preferred
• Quick to adapt and flexible, open to learning new skills, a team-player who can also be independent when required
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
